Dhir Jain, a Business Administration and Global Supply Chain Management student from SUNY Plattsburgh was the winner of the 2023 Albany Capital District ASCM Forum Scholarship Award with his essay on "The Evolution and Future of Supply Chain Management".

Dhir received a $1,000 scholarship award during the ASCM Forum Meeting held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in Amsterdam, NY, and shared the following remarks:
"This achievement has brought immense joy and pride to both me and my parents, and I cannot thank you enough for this incredible scholarship opportunity. Receiving this scholarship means a great deal to me, not only because of the financial support it provides but also because it represents recognition of my dedication and hard work in the field of supply chain management. I am truly honored to have been chosen as the recipient among many other deserving candidates. I am particularly excited about the potential experiences that this scholarship will offer, such as the opportunity to visit different companies and engage in valuable networking events. These experiences will undoubtedly enhance my knowledge and understanding of the global supply chain industry, and I am eager to learn from industry professionals and gain practical insights during these trips. This has also boosted my confidence and motivated me to strive for excellence in my academic and professional pursuits; I am deeply honored."
